Zaidi Africa was founded in 2005 by Zamda George. Prior to Zaidi Africa, Zamda mastered her seamstress skills in Jangwani Secondary School as she took her needle work classes. Zamda started as a solo designer with her brand name Zaidi Creations and used to work from home. Zamda who is the Tanzanian Designer Award winner specialized in pageants and runway shows before pursuing her dream of opening her own tailoring business. Zaidi Africa Tanzania Limited is the results of a love story between Zamda and her husband Ahmed who not only believed in her dream but supported her dream to reality.
